Crossfit Foundation

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

Since it’s inception the CrossFit community has supported causes ranging from cancer research to local causes in need.

In 2009 Fight Gone Bad fundraising event was launched as a one-day International opportunity for the community to turn out as one to create a lasting philanthropic contribution each year. Since then the Fight Gone Bad fundraising event has raised more than $3 million for causes our community has supported.

In 2010 the CrossFit Foundation was formed to serve as a resource for all of the CrossFit philanthropic activities. The foundation board works in an advisory capacity with the Sportsgrants Foundation on Fight Gone Bad, and in 2010 became one of the event beneficiaries insuring that funds raised by the community served the community.

In addition to this primary objective, the foundation also maintains a fund for grants to causes supported by its affiliates, Operation Phoenix and community grants to members of our community in need of immediate assistance.
